I am writing to you from Germany, and my English is not the best, sorry for that. I've been suffering from Lyme and co. for several years now. Went from lying in bed with fear of death to being able to go swimming and stuying again. But still there are some symptoms left. I was treated on heavy metal toxicity and the infections. A big issue for me were parasites.
I am basically following Dr. K. and also using muscle testing which has helped me a lot.
But still, there are symptoms left, like major fatigue, difficulty sleeping (although I hugely improved on that since treating for parasites, esp. Filaria- since then I could go off of all medication), difficulty concentrating and some anxiety (not sure whether this is related to an infection or simply to the circumstances that this disease brings with it).
I tested positive for Protomyxzoa Rheumatica some days ago. Unfortunately, in Germany this infection is completely unknown, but luckily there is Lymenet.org and some other information available.
Now, I am wondering which therapy, besides the dietary approach, (that I am already on) might help. I used the muskle testing method for that. I know- a lot of people don't rely on this method but for me it has been of ernormous value. Naja, it said, using Interferone Beta (Avenox) plus the diet would be the ideal way to erradicate PR. The second option was using a combination of Mepron, Riamed and Doxicycline or Minocycline. Always combined with the diet. The third a combination of antihelminthics and the diet. Of cours all of them were combined with biofilm- elimination.
What interested me was the possibility of Interferone Beta. I know that it has strong possible side effects, is expensive, and difficult to get, but still I want to know more about it. So I googled on Interferone and Babesia and some results showed up, saying that there is at least a prophylactic effect of Interferone Gamma on an infection with Babesia.
Does anyone of you have any idea/ experience on this? Anyone ever used Interferone Beta in another context?

Hi Nanu. I muscle test too (love it). Sorry, I've never heard of anyone doing interferon for proto. Did you find that in a study? I'm not sure if Dr. F uses it or not.
The link below lists what one well known doc uses on her patients. I'm on malarone, parasite meds, byron white, and enzymes. Some people just do ivermectin. Some just alinia, and some do combos of things below. We are all different, so what works for one person may not work for another. But diet is key.

Hi Catgirl, nice to meet someone who uses muscletesting. Actually, I read somewhere here I think that Interferone could be used against Proto, but as I cannot do search currently I haven't been able to find that information again. Which parasite meds are you taking? And are you experiencing any progress? Ja, I believe that the diet is the key. Since I am on it I can already feel someone improvement. But unfortunately not enough so I feel medication will be neeeded.

I'm doing Dr K's protocol of parasite meds. My progress is slow, but I'll take it since I believe parasites are key for lyme patients.
Heavy metals are just as important. Getting my amalgams out by a biological dentist was the best thing I've done.
Hopefully someone who knows about interferone will see your thread and post. :)
