Are you taking another drug with it? I am on Malarone and biaxin. Cannot do Zithromax because of heart palpitations.

Thanks for bringing my post back up.

I am not taking any other drug with it.

You question is timely. I was thinking of putting up a new post regarding this.

If babesia is a parasite why are Malarone or Mepron often combined with an antibiotic ?

I have read that possibly spirochetes can hide inside the babesia. Is this the reason to combine antibiotics with Malarone/Mepron ?

Or does the antibiotic have some direct effect on the babs ?

Something else ?
