Wanting people's thoughts/ opinions why some people get remission with antibiotics, and some get remission naturally.
(Some people's testimony is that they didn't get better until they went the natural route, whereas some say they tried the natural route but eventually had to take antibiotics).
Just picking your brains. :-)

Honestly, I don't believe I know of anyone that has gotten into remission using only the natural approach. They may have used antibiotics first and then switched to herbals.
This may have worked for them because the abx knocked the infections down but filled them up with toxins and the herbs allowed their bodies to detox.
Breaks to detox are a good idea and the herbs can help you maintain your ground for short periods. It may also help build up your immune system to keep the infections in check.
I had to take several breaks from the medications, which began to cause side effects as serious as the symptoms themselves. During those breaks I took massive amounts of herbs. My breaks were as long as 5 months.
It just doesn't make sense to me that herbs can heal infections so virulent they are comparable to killers like syphilis and malaria. If you were diagnosed with syphilis, the first cousin to borellia, I bet you would not hesitate to take massive amounts of abx.
If you knew not treating it aggressively would allow it to infect every organ in your body, including your brain, you would understand herbs are just not strong enough.
Most of us have methyl cycle mutations that make it difficult for us to detox. Some of us are more sensitive than others. I could never take more than 2 antibiotics at once so I could never treat more than one infection at a time.
The herbs also helped me address the less dominate infections while I was getting the one in the forefront suppressed.
This is what I did to get what is referred to as "lyme" into remission. My primary problem now is protomyxzoa Rheumatica, which is incurable and needs strict dietary restrictions and a chemical punch now and then to keep it under control.
