Topic: Off abx, looking to parasites - SaltC. COuld I get some advice?

Hello all. I have lost insurance coverage, and my abx. I'm not happy about this. But I can't take abx forever. This is just an early departure from a treatment that was working, if not very slowly. I had been on abx for 4 years.
I have stockpiled a bunch of parasite abx over the past few months, in anticipation of ending the abx. I have Dr. K's complete protocol. I have enough Ivermectin for 1 month, and the rest, I have enough to treat for about 6 months.
I'm also considering Salt/C. I've heard good things about it. reading the book, it appears that a whole host of other things that I can't afford need to accompany the TX. I thought Salt/C was inexpensive, but I get the feeling that it could nickel-dime me to death. But I'd like to know a bit more about it. Could this be something I do along with parasite meds?
I'm looking into coffee enemas and better detox methods. But there is so much info on detox that it's too much to do it all. I need to simplify the process. It is all too complicated.
The last concern I have is Bartonella. I've ran out of Avelox and I do feel the symptoms returning. I don't think herbs/ Salt/ Parasite meds are going to hit Bart. In fact I have no idea what will get rid of it. That will be the one that kills me.
Could some of you weigh in and help me take the next step, because right now I am staring at a highway system of too much info and too many roads to take, with no particular confidence in an outcome. Thanks for and and all help.

Lymeboy,
Of course, I think highly of Stephen Buhner and Dr. Zhang, but my LLMD has me taking Beyond Balance Bar-1 for Bart (along with zithromax).
I'm taking this herbal tincture (which is alcohol-free) because I have such problems with acid reflux.
So maybe that would help you with Bart in the absence of medication.

Lymeboy-it's taken me 6 months to work up to 2 TSP daily of salt/c.
When I hit the 2 TSP mark, the intestinal worms started a mass exodus. It really is disgusting.
Salt/C truly helps with parasite worms and flukes.
I also do coffee enemas for detox.
A-Bart or beyond balance or buhner's suggestions for Bart may be a good option for you.
I hear you about Bart. Just when I think I'm making progress, I have a day like today (super irritable, stiff neck, bad tempered) and feel like I'm back at square 1.

Greta, do the coffee enemas help? I have read that some people have had their lives changed by them.

This change may actually turn out to be a good thing for you....we found that natural treatments were much more effective than antibiotics after we made the switch. And much easier on the body. Enemas and killing parasites are a great idea. Cumanda is very effective against bartonella. You might take that and Samento together twice daily for it to kill bart even faster and it should knock out the bart in a few months...but do the parasite treatment and the enemas too!
MMS (CD) is another wonderful, cheap option and many are having success with it for both parasites and lyme, among other things. Check out my thread "for those with sick kids" for all of the links on the baby bottle and parasite protocols by Kerri Rivera.

Thank you Tick Battler. I would like to know more about MMS, and I refuse to spend any money on those ebooks. I've thrown enough money and time at this disease! Could you point me to some good resources for using this protocol?
A few months? That sounds suspect! I treated with floroquinolone drugs for 3 years trying to eradicate Bart, and it won't go away. I tried Cumanda in the past, and didn't have any noticeable gains from it. I'm willing to give it another try, but I've found that tinctures haven't had much effect on me. Is there a proper way to take them?

Lymeboy - just search for and read my "For those with sick kids thread" and there are all of the links that you need for learning about the MMS baby bottle and parasite protocols. Kerri Rivera developed a protocol for autism but many adults are using it to heal numerous illnesses, including lyme. I am not convinced that MMS (or CD) kills babesia, but I believe it is effective for lyme and bart and ehrlichia, among many other things.
I know it sounds suspect! But read Summer3's current thread about her herx from the Cowden herbs. Maybe for some reason they won't work for you but in many cases, if you combine them, you will herx. I would try Samento and Cumanda together on an empty stomach twice daily to see what happens. We treated bart for 2 years with abx and still couldn't shake it. But with the herbs, we normally clear it within about 5 months.
You might consider doing both MMS and the herbs...maybe try them first separately to see if there is any herxing.
