It just passed the house. We need to let our senators know how we feel as they could vote on it now.

Thanks for staying on top of this Catgirl. I just emailed my senator. This is incredibly important.

Done. Thanks Catgirl.

Thanks Tammy and Pocono!

This bill affects us all. Here is an easy link to send to your senators (copy and paste).

Because of the government shut-down, this hasn't come up for a vote yet, but probably will very soon.

If you haven't already, please do this NOW! If fact, I don't see why we couldn't do it now, even if we have done it before. The chances that the senators didn't see it before are great.

Here is the link: www.anh-usa.org/amend-the-compounding-bill

If the law passes as it is, it will make it impossible for us to get rx's of nutritional IV's! I do them daily (gluthione and magnesium), and they are extremely important for me!

We also couldn't get IV abx from Infuserve and other compounding pharmacies, which would make it impossible for me and most of us to afford IV antibiotics

(the spell-check won't let me write the shorthand for antibiotics---it keeps changing it to "abc!" Arghh!

Please post this wherever you can, as well as doing it yourself, pronto.

I think we should call, or better yet, visit our senators, too. Although, we will have to figure out the timing, re the shut down. Right now, they are probably pretty preoccupied with that. But the vote may happen really soon.

The bill as it stands would be devastating! It would make it impossible for most of us to afford IV antibiotics, and would make it impossible for the pharmacies to dispense IV magnesium, glutathione, etc.

For people who are on TPN, it's life-threatening!!

[BTW, what is up with the spell check on LN?? I can no longer write the abbreviations for antibiotics (it changes it to "abc" or herxheimer (it changes it to "herd" or "hero!"]

Yes, yes, yes, please do take action on this! Multiple times!

This bill would literally kill me. I would be unable to live without IV nutrition, as I am currently unable to ingest anything orally at all, not even my own saliva.

So please, please do take action on this very critical issue. Thanks,

Yes, I was thinking about you specifically, Razzle.

This is non-negotiable! But I doubt that any senators have really thought much about this, especially with the shut down negotiations having held everything hostage.

I emailed the head of Infuserve today about it. He went to Washington to talk to his senators about it. But he wasn't sure

that it made any difference. He said that the cost of the IV abx would at least triple! They would lose most of their business, if this goes through.
