Hello,

I took praziquantel the first time about a year ago and had only short herx problems, little vertigo, gut bloating and so. startd to feel somewhat better.
did it 2 weeks with feeling no further improvement after that time.

now I took clindymycin for about 6 weeks feeling some improvement and after 6 weeks I added in again praziquantel. It´s the third day and I´m feeling really ill, cold chills although body temperature is normal, some nausea, headache, preassure in the eyes. never had this from any of this medication alone.

as there are some side effects from praziquantel which are similar to my condition, I want to ask you for comments, experience....

thanks.

Not sure if there is an interaction between the 2 medications
(you could check drugs.com interaction page)

but I have taken the same anti- parasite drug (example Albendazole) a year apart, the first time seemed fairly easy,
the 2nd time knocked my socks off.

So next comes the detox lecture. You know this one, right?
Keep those bowels moving, liver support, Epsom salt baths, sweating, very clean diet no sugar, binder away from meds,
glutathione, etc. etc.

doing okay!

My concern would be that you have c.difficile -- clindamycin can cause that at any point in treatment even if you have tolerated the med in the past.

Are you taking s. boularrdi?
