I have caught colds, flus etc the whole time I have had lyme. I don't see it relating that way. If anything to me when your immune system is compromised you catch more things as you are not able to fight them off.

But I haven't had a body temperature over 97.8 in 4 years of treating this disease.
There's no way my body wasn't catching any viruses going around....
This time my immune system was responsive with a fever, aches & pains, chills, and then I broke the fever and went into sweats.
By day 3 I felt really good.
PS: On day 2 I started taking Olive Leaf to help and boy does it!

I just think of the immune system wasn't working we would be dealing with alot more than lyme. This is why people who go on TNF inhibotors and the Iike which shut down the immune system need to be so careful. They are much more susceptible to not only colds, viruses etc but also cancers.
So, I feel even though I have lyme my immune system is still definitely functioning. It was actually suggested to me to go on amd that would supress my immune system to get relief from my psoriasis.
I also run an extremely low body temp which I am now learning is linked to adrenal and thyroid issues.

This is supposed to be a good thing? Wow! Who knew?
Maybe it's a good thing then that I have felt sick with a virus for almost 2 weeks? I even had a low fever.
Hope everyone is doing as well as could be!

Well... it just means (I think) that the latest "bug" going around was able to get a foothold in You, probably due to a lack of sufficient immune system response to this latest version or "geno-type".
Good luck with recovery! You'll probably be fine... in few days, with lots of fresh new anti-bodies floating around in you.
