Ugh, I really thought I had bart. and now my galaxy test came back negative. i was hoping it explained why i was still ill. maybe it's just lyme that continues to give me a hard time? I haven't treated lyme hard core for that long. stopped with stright lyme meds in order to treat babs, then was on bactrim and malarone for a long time. thoughts?? so frustrating!

My suggestion would be to do a Clongen bloodslide and see if there are coccobacilli in your blood. I do not think the Galaxy test is 100 percent accurate -- what medical test is?

You need more information to make an informed decision and I think a bloodslide would be a good place to start. You have to call the lab. The test is not on their test requisition form on the internet.
