Yes yes yes it is a Bart herx.

3am, mind starts being very active, unsettled.

I relax physically, from exhaustion, but mentally my mind goes a mile a minute.

My doc said it is from neurotoxins from lyme and Bart.

If you feel like you're becoming unstable-you should talk to your doc and see if you should reduce your med, or stay at the same med dose but add in a detox protocol.

I've read that decreasing Bart meds causes the bugs to become resistant.

Best of luck
Greta

Certainly speak to your LLMD, but sometimes you have to push through a herx.

You do need to be on some detox supplements throughout treatment. They will help minimize the herxing and help your liver get rid of the toxins from die off.

Insomnia is very common. If you do not find relief from magnesium and melatonin, ask your LLMD to prescribe something for you to sleep.

How about a nice epsom salt bath?! And drink lemon water.
