Hello--

This is all so new to me. I believe I've read what my foggy brain an handle right now. Please tell me if this sums things up?

If I take my prior dxes:

And separate each symptom out, to then compile a master symptom list....I have 34 of the 38 symptoms for Lyme-Chronic Lyme, that is.

So it's then wise for me to get myself tested with the Western Blot?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts...

Hi,
Your list of prior dx's looks similar to mine.

I've had 16 (mis) diagnoses prior to my correct dx of lyme.

Within a month of starting lyme treatment, 2 of the worst "diagnoses" have disappeared! Yay!

The best thing you could do at this time would be to find an LLMD in your area.

Lyme diagnoses are based on clinical diagnoses, not blood work, as lyme tests are not always representative, especially when chronic.

An LLMD will look at you and your symptoms with an experienced, ILADS trained eye, which is what you need.

If you post in Seeking a Doctor lots of folks will respond to you with options.

Also a good idea to find a lyme support group in your area.

Best,
Greta

I bet all of us have had multiple diagnoses from your list. I know I have. All are common in Lyme.

You need to see an LLMD and get the Igenex Western Blot. A regular doc and a regular lab will just make you more confused. Both are unreliable.

Hop on over to Seeking a Doctor and post there.

Good luck! Better health is on the way!
