I saw a new Dr for another opinion and he agreed that my testosterone was too low, but said he would never give testosterone for it, but instead progesterone. I didn't think to ask why at the time.
Does anyone know anything about this? thanks!

I don't see how progesterone will address testosterone issues. Progesterone balances out estrogen.

progesterone is a precursor hormone to testosterone, that is it is involved in regulating testosterone production in some way. All the hormones are inter-related. DHEA also facilitates testosterone production
