Hi, I just received a copy of my labs and my white blood count is 3.6. About 3 months ago it was at 4.1 my Llmd did not even mention this to me during our review. Why is it dropping? Normal range is between 4.0- 10.0. What can I do? Or what now?

I had the same problem. In 2 weeks it went from 8 to 4....Not sure why...At the same time my liver enzymes went up.
I am off all meds now and waiting to re-test my WBC and liver e.'s.

My usual is in the 3's, but lately in the 2's. I don't know but they're aware of it.

When my white blood count got low, my lyme doctor put me on Transfer Factor by 4Life. It was made of bovine (cow's) colostrum.
THen, he retested me in 2 weeks. The Transfer Factor worked great. My count was back up in normal range.
My lyme doctor said that once a person has been on antibiotics for a while, the body senses that the antibiotics are fighting the germs, so it thinks that it no longer has to produce many white blood cells. Then, the WBC count goes down.
If you don't get it up, your doc will likely decide to stop your meds until it comes up. Thanks to Transfer Factor, I never had to stop my antibiotic therapy.
When the WBC went low a second time, we did the same thing as the first time. When it went low the third time, my doc said to just stay on the Transfer Factor until I was finished with treatment. So, I stayed on it a number of months.
This was all about 7 1/2 years ago when I got cured of lyme, babs, and bart.
You can buy the Transfer Factor at The Vitamin Shoppe and probably elsewhere also.

Same thing: take the Transfer Factor to bring it up.
Another remedy that also apparently works to bring up the neutrophils (a kind of white blood cell that attacks pathogens) is: to take high dose niacin 2-3 times per day. Around 500 mg bid or tid.
BTW, since I have had a bad problem with neutopenia and leukopenia, and the dr took me off everything cold turkey, but it the neutrophils still didn't come up after a month, I have been drinking colostrum, and my last blood test, the WBC's were low, but much better, and the neutrophils came up to normal for the first time in months!
I now started taking niacin, too.

Up.
My bloodwork just came back and my neutrophils are low.
I am going to try increasing niacin.

I was told by my LLMD that the white count tends to go down with treatment. Mine fluctuated with every blood test. It still stayed below the normal range most of the time.

Of course, Anaplasma/Ehrlichia lowers the WBC's. So if you still have that, as I do, that's a major factor.
According to Dr. J in DC, Babesia also does that.
I learned about the high dose niacin from a patient of Dr. K, who recommended it.
This has been a major battle of mine, in spite of taking frozen colostrum straight from the cow (but frozen to last).
