This is so strange. I can be sitting watching tv or out shopping, driving, and I almost burst into tears. A tremendous feeling of sadness and despair will come over me. I will.often choke up and if I'm home, well, then I just start crying.
I wonder what happened to me, how did I get here, why am I always tired. Where did the real me go.
It's not him and he's gone for a week now anyway.
I feel so disconnected.
Lyme again???

I have gotten the emotional/crying episodes when I have been treating bartonella.
It seems like when I don't treat barttonella strong enough, I get more angry and irritable.
But at times, when treating more strongly, I have episodes where I get really emotional and more sentimental. And, yes, the sadness-even crying.
I forget what you are doing for treatment. Are you by chance treating for this?

For me it seems to be Bartonella related as well. Feels like my brain is oversensitive to everything. Even the slightest unexpected sound can cause panic attacks and crying.
The rational part of my brain knows it is stupid and tries to ignore it, but the emotional part can sometimes be overwhelming and just takes over.

I'm taking a break right now. My doctor gave me zoloft and I'm already on elavil.
I just don't want to take pills.
I'm going to start back on buhner as cowden was so expensive.

Cowden's protocol caused me a lot of herxing and emotional sadness. It didn't do anything as I relapsed anyway. That was some years ago.
Toxins can cause this. Be sure to detox well.
Good luck.

I know we're all different, but just to let you know - I put one tablet of the homeopathic remedy pulsatilla 12x under my tongue at bedtime and woke up happy the next day, and couldn't remember why! It still works for me if I choose to do it.
