I started IV Rocephin and I am on day 11 today.
On day 9 I started having a tingling and inchy sensation under my right breast. For lack of a better explanation it feels like my lung or inner chest has an itch.
The PICC line is in the left (opposite arm). Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be a reaction to the drug? Is this something that happens with treatment? Could this be a new Lyme symptom I haven't had yet?
Any insight would be appreciated.

Are you taking Actigall or Ursodial to prevent billiary sludging?
Rocephin increases the risk of gallstones and the risk of losing your gallbladder.
Can you contact your LLMD to inform your doc about this new symptom and to ask if it could be your gallbladder?
Your gallbladder is on the right side-near the area you feel the tingling.
Please inform your doc as soon as you can, just to make sure.

This doesn't really sound like costochondiritis, but that is the first thing I thought of. Costochondritis is an inflammation of the chest muscles and the pain is made worse by pressing on the sternum.
