I know from reading on this site and from books that Lyme and parasites flare with the full moon. This results in symptom flares with the full moon.
I have tracked myself for quite awhile. I feel good during the full moon and like poop during the new moon.
Anyone else experience this ?
Anyone have an explanation for this ? Does this suggest a particular coinfection etc. ?
I am not a werewolf ! But I do enjoy the TV show Grimm.

I don't have an explanation for it.

Borellia has 28 cay cycles. Often that coincides with the full moons - but not always.

I have had flares with both. In Feb. I had a bad flare with new moon.
Last month's full moon was really bad. The horrendous pain started Oct. 14-just 4 days before full moon-and the only thing that got me through over the weekend was the wonderful ILADS conference streaming- it was a great distraction.
The pain has been worse ever since.

Yes, sometimes I have a new moon and full moon effect. Sometimes one and not the other.
Some moons put me down literally to the couch. Other moons I can cover up their effects.
Now put me in a moon cycle and put a weather barometric change together and it's a hold on I'm going to be down, down down for a few days.
If I was able to work, I could tell my employer....don't schedule during this new moon or full moon days. If a storm system comes thru don't expect me to be here either.
Do you think anybody would hire a lyme loonie like me?

Lately the new moons have been very bothersome for me also. Worse so than a full moon.
Add in the week I PMS, the week of my period, and pretty much the entire month is torture. Haha.
