Wore it five nights.

Hard acrylic worn on lower teeth.

This morning something felt funny when I woke up.

A piece had broken off and was "resting" in place on the molar. Where it should be. Just not attached to the rest of the guard.

Glad I did not swallow it.

Area: the rearmost part on my right side - piece broken off about the size of a fingernail.

How did that happen?

Did I bite down so hard that I cracked/broke it?

Is that a typical spot for a guard to break?

It was "sheared off" at an angle - not straight across.

Could have had hairline cracks when made. Then the amount of pressure weakened it over time and cracked. Id get my money back.

Yes, defective!

Please request a refund/new one.

When mine wear thru they get thinner and thinner till my teeth split the entire length of the mouth guard down the thinnest portion. I hope that makes sense.

And I chew the you know what out of mine every night. Some people get 5 years out of theirs, I get a year to maybe two years.

Greta - is yours a hard acrylic?

In the past I had the "soft" kind.

I guess those fell out of favor.

I never worried about the softer kind breaking
like the hard one has done though. Yikes.

My mouth guard is the hard acrylic and it should not crack or break after a few uses....

Take it back...
