Do you guys/gals just take this with your other abxs with food?
Or do you do diflucan on empty stomach?

Careful - it can affect the heart so should not be taken with other abx that can also affect the heart. I think macrolides are in that category.

Thanks - It says "minor interaction" between the two.
My doc didn't recommend I take it separately. But he also didn't say whether to take with or without food.

You don't really have to take it away from abx unless there's the heart issue.

Definitely do not take Diflucan while taking Biaxin and likely Zithromax.

I'd just take the Rx'ed amount away from the other meds, with food. It's usually just a small pink pill every 3 to 7 days anyway. I never had issues, & I had heart skips to begin with, though they were pretty much resolved by the time I was put on the protocol that included flucanazole (it's generic name).

When I was prescribed Biaxin and Diflucan, my pharmacist called me to let me know they should not be taken together.
