The CDC has approved this test it's just not openly offered First... It's $100.00's of dollars cheaper and here's the best news. You will have the results in under 24 Hours. Not 24 Days.

Here's the problem. Drs don't know what meds we need ASAP And none of this 28 days of antibiotics you're healed.

My objective is the children being labeled ADD ADHD etc...
This will keep these kids off all the other FDA and CDC drugs. That will cause more harm to the children the teachers the parents and families.

Remember MMADD Mad mothers against drunk drivers!!!!!!
Well I'm MADD Mothers Against Dumb Drs...
I've lived with undiagnosed for 40 years with Lyme until 2000.

Gosh darn it's no wonder they don't want this test offered First. This way they can give you all of the wrong tests first just to say you don't have blah blah blah blah blah. You need to see Psych Drs. aka a poss. Lyme test.

Lets protect the next generation because we are not able to be heard. Here's more truth. Look up Lyme Disease suicide rates and or statistics. This will open your eyes, make you mad enuf to do something about this. It's available to be read. Worst part is most of them didn't die from suicide. They died from Lyme complications including other conditions. 8 year olds 10 year olds and many too many.

I'm wanting to get people's attention for the Q-RiBb test. So lets gather our research and knock Lyme into space. Ending pain pain pain.

And Lymetoo edit this in order to keep people alive. After 13 years on this website. Many many many lives have improved and healed.

So what do day people. Lets Lyme Up. Because I'm getting tired of getting [bonk] on. And the only people that can relate are the ones that have Lyme and co infections.

Welcome to my world of brain famine.

The test only has One i not two. Q-RiBb Lyme Test. The CDC kind of approved this in 2003... Then again more so in 2007. They forgot to tell the Drs and how to treat Lyme aggressively.

The test is less than $200.00 Drs just don't want us for pts. With Lyme. We have what we have. We are not what we have. Unless we are Left untreated and undiagnosed. Then we are worn out.
Just keep fighting. Don't give up on your self.

Mothers Against Dumb Doctors - I've been in the club for a long long time!

According to my reading the use of antibiotics can contribute to suicide. I did a post on it yesterday.

Thanks for the info.
So this test is not available?

Personally I do not feel that any lyme test is 100 percent accurate. Hubby never had the test done by the current lab.

He did have the old test done by the old Bowen lab -- the founder of that lab has since died and her daughter was behind the development of the new test. The old lab was controversial and had legal issues with some lyme patients in Kansas City who won a mega lawsuit against the lab and LLMD doc claiming they never had lyme because the Bowen lab was the only test that was positive and they did not recover their health with lyme treatment -- think there may have been a death involved but forget the exact details right off.

I am not discounting the test -- but just giving some history for those who wonder why the test is not more actively marketed.

The old Bowen lab was the first lab that found babesia by microscopy in hubby back in 2003 -- the Dr B at the time did at least believe in the babesia test results from that lab.

It's more accurate than all the others combined. No False Poss. Poss Neg. the WB ELISA LUAT and others. This my point. And it's cheaper. Just ask your Dr to order it then you take it at the office he mails it back.

Some Dr will Balk at that. But it's your blood and you want to use that test, that you are paying for. It's the Drs that boo hoo it. They don't want to treat Lyme Pts. Period!!!

I had no knowing of Abx contribute to suicide. When I saw "Theda from Perth Australia" it broke my heart...She was only 37 years old.

There is another Tribute to 100s not all suicide just complications from Lyme. There was an 7 yr old and a 10 yr old. Not suicide just to late of diagnoses. And at the bottom of the page. It talks about Dr Joanne Whitaker she also help invent the e-Coli test in the 1950s. Also the Q-RiBb test work the same way.

I'm getting worse. But I'm hanging on. I have a few reasons but not many after 13 years here. There are real lifelines. Like Lymetoo.

And now my feet are going numb etc... I don't know why. Hey it might be lyme related ??
I think giving up is harder than the fight. Instead of Hopeless think Hope Less often on fight. You are worth it no matter what the Drs say to you. Amen

IMO, it's irresponsible to say that antibiotics can lead to suicide - without quantifying that the recent article about that omits other valuable considerations - and offering an overview of so many helped by them regarding lyme and TBD.

That article is entirely out of context.

Untreated lyme can lead to suicide, too. So can other untreated tick-borne infections.

When accompanied with the kinds of support methods that most ILADS educated doctors employ, the liver is supported so suicide is less of an issue.

Still, if one is determined to avoid antibiotics at all costs, it's still vital to become educated about how many have gotten well with their use -- and what methods of support helped with emotional, psychological and psychiatric issues.

If one is determined - for whatever reasons to avoid antibiotics - it is very important to find an ILADS educated LL ND to explore a full range of options.

Not all who side step antibiotics really know enough about lyme and what is required to address it and what goes along with it.

When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods:

if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL ND (lyme literate naturopathic doctor) (or similar) who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -

- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present, and has completed the ILADS Physician Training Program (see: www.ilads.org )

Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.

When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.

How to find an ILADS-educated LL:

N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor);

L.Ac. (Acupuncturist);

D.Ay. (Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine);

D.O.M. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine);

D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy);

D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic);

Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc.

Be aware that integrative doctors can have various levels of formal herbal &/or nutritional education, perhaps even just a short course. Do ask first. Some have learned on their own from experts in the field. There are many ways to acquire knowledge and most are eager to share basic details about their training. You want someone with a deep knowledge.

Some of the specialities above may not actually treat lyme yet, for things such as physical adjustments, it is just good that they are also LL, at least to some degree (to know never to suddenly twist the neck or spine).

Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:

Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;

knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.

You can compare and contrast many approaches.

BASIC HERBAL EDUCATIONAL & SAFETY links,

BODY WORK links with safety tailored to lyme patients,

LOW HEAT INFRARED SAUNA detail,

BIOPHOTON - BIONIC 880 (& PE-1) links, and

RIFE links.

What ILADS is

& WHY you need an ILADS-educated, Lyme Literate Doctor (whether LLMD or LL ND, or both)

Would you think Cats Claw without TOA instead of Abx. Better for Lyme.

No, TOA-free Cat's Claw will NOT be enough alone. Not by a long shot.

It sure failed me, and many others. However, it has helped some. Still, find an ILADS educated LL ND to guide you -- and I know not everyone can access one due to budget or location -

- but in that thread above, you will find all kinds of articles and books by holistic minded ILADS educated LLMDs and LL NDs who can help you explore a fuller range of options.
