I thought this was a great article on gut health. Since that is where our immune system resides it is so important to address, but it's also one of the biggest areas people don't.
I must admit I was guilty too. Taking antibiotics for a year and eating gluten, processed foods etc was not a good idea. For a lot of people changing diet is the one thing they resist. Completely cutting out all processed foods as well as gluten, dairy, soy and grains made a huge difference for me. http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2013/07/how-to-fix-your-gut/Posts: 1748 | From United States | Registered: Dec 2011

Some of it I agree with, some of it I don't. But you know how that goes!
Suffice it to say, our gut health is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
I have made leaps and bounds with my health by following the Body Ecology Diet* and eating sauerkraut.
*no dairy, gluten, sugar, or grains

Indeed this is a very good summary in most respects, better on some issues than others obviously, but great to have all in one place. Thanks Ellen!
