I was infected with lyme in 2006. After 3 new bites in September 2013, I was finally tested for lyme and it back positive. Since September I have had alot of the symptoms I had during the past years. This time they all seem to have it at once.

I have had severe nerve pain in my lower back. 2006 it was in my upper spine (C6, C7 area).

My biggest problem today is this:

I have extreme tingling and vertigo. The last time I had this I had seizures. Felt as if I was going to be violently sick, then pressure on my chest, static in ears, feeling numb all over, but able to move my limbs. Lasted about 25 minutes. Has this happened to others? I'm starting to worry about them starting to reoccur. I have also had major heart palpitations this week.

If you experience that again, I hope you have friends / family around who can help you stay comfortable. If you think you need to go to the ER, do go. Not everything is lyme . . .

however, what you describe IS totally in line with what others have reported.

Sorry to hear of all this.

1. Indeed, what you describe is not all that uncommon in lyme. I've had all you describe but that may only help you to know to talk with your LLMD about this first.

of course, it's Sat. morning.

Some Rx can make this worse. Some of the Rx you mention in your previous thread in November can also be "ototoxic" and cause the inner ear symptoms. The TINNITUS thread below has links regarding OTOTOXIC DRUGS.

Whatever is going on, though, for now, what can HELP:

MAGNESIUM is #1, even today, as you start to sort this all out.

SKULLCAP TINCTURE may also be calming.

GINGER CAPSULES #2 - to help calm vertigo

LIVER SUPPORT is #3, as that can also help with the vertigo, etc.

GINGER - to help calm vertigo

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=ginger%2C%20nausea

PubMed search of medical abstracts:

ginger, nausea - 117 abstracts

also cross search with vertigo

Properties of Ginger (scroll all the way down)

GINGER ROOT - a chapter from “The One Earth Herbal Sourcebook” (Tillotson)

http://www.vitacost.com

GINGER ROOT Capsules - various choices. Your closest natural foods market, vitamin store and even some pharmacies will carry this. Go for organic, wild crafted if possible.

Eclectic Institute, Gaia, good brands. You will need the capsules for the therapeutic strength. Tea can help but it won't be high enough dose.

For others who wonder, as I do, whether you are on treatment or have a LLMD, it appears not. Good detail here for anyone who wants to suggest the next step.

It sure sounds like you had just a short treatment course with a new diagnose a few months ago, and just one single antibiotic. Then dropped.

So, you are not seeing a LLMD now?

Doing anything for lyme, directly? And specific herbal formulas, etc.?

It just helps to know so that replies can be more specific. Still, whatever is going on, the suggestions above are still solid. Take care. Take REALLY good care.

Keebler, thank you for the information. I did take a round of doxy in Septemer 2013.

I currently do not have a LLMD. Not in a position to do much at this time.

A state doctor called my and said that when tested I have had this for a long time, it did not come from tick bites in September as I was only exposed 3 days prior to testing. She said to keep seeing my regular MD, who had long since sent me to a doctor who diagnosed me with PTSD. I did get bit by a tick in 2006 and my doctor had to remove the head. After that I started having alot of syptoms and have been trying to get help since, 4 surgeries and many specialist later, here I am, now starting all over again.

My titer was 1.98 with a possitive at 1.01)?? Any comments on what that means? I really believe I was reinfected in Sept with something more, As I can't remember feeling this bad in a long time.

Thanks for the info above, taking a minute to rest.

I know all this will take a while. Hope you can get some good magnesium and ginger capsules TODAY.

I have no other advice other than to go back to the links posted for you in your Nov. thread. I'd say the same thing today I said then, so be sure to check those links.

Now, I fully understand that due to location, access or "budget" not everyone can see a LLMD or LL ND. Even if so, there are some very specific things that one can do on their own.

Would you want some of that detail?

Thanks

Suebear,

I am not familiar with how some of the Rx you take may interact with any supplement. If you weren't taking anything else, I would suggest considering any of these below, for enough help to then study other options in fuller detail.

I'd feel better if you could consult a LL ND, of course but also know that's not always possible. So, be sure to read all you can about anything before trying it. There are some Rx that do not mix with Berberine. I just don't recall which.

Also be aware that some of the Rx you list in your Nov. posts can have serious side effects and could be the cause of some of the symptoms.

Not that you clearly don't have lyme. You do. Still, some of the Rx that's been tossed at you to shut you up and keep you away could be causing all kinds of trouble and not really able to help as you need because the underlying cause is not addressed.

I suffered terrible side effects from all kinds of pain & sleep meds that were tossed at me - until I dropped them all. My body just couldn't tolerate all that, any of that, really.

Back to herbs that I might suggest to help right now.

I take no Rx at all for anything so don't have to be concerned with interactions. While not enough alone, so far for me, Berberine has been a good help to me and the best I've found in many years of trying to figure this out on my own, on a mere shred of a shoestring at this point.

It's not good to "do" only one (whether talking Rx or herbals) a combination is better. Still, if one has just enough money for just one, Berberine seems a good choice - at least until you can sort out a plan.

If one cannot afford any supplement, garlic, actual organic raw garlic cloves, with detail (and cautions) in that thread below. It is at least, something.

The others have their place, too. This one is just fine, in my experience. Other brands in links set, too.

DIET: a GLUTEN-FREE diet is absolutely essential for many and will help many symptoms decrease. Dairy, Corn & Soy can also cause major issues with inflammation and many find avoiding those also really matters.

For further study, and a way that I think could be much more effective in the long run (though would still need support supplements):

Kerri Rivera's research on autism is showing that seizures are often caused by parasitic worms. Her new protocol using the CD baby bottle and parasite protocols is curing epilepsy and getting rid of seizures. As you get rid of the worms, the seizures go away.

Another sign of parasites is worsening symptoms on or near the new and full moons. The new moon was January 31st. The CD protocol is the cheapest you will find. It is amazing. Check it out. No need for an LLMD. You can heal on your own. Join the facebook group CDHealth to learn more.
