Oh boy...started the flagyl 1500 and augmentin 1700 per day as of yesterday.

Last night I woke up with severe stomach pain. I am taking them with food.

Also my urine smells to high heaven...very metallic like.

Im taking probiotics.

Anything I can do. Ive got 12 days left to go...

All we can say is OUCH and "I hope it gets better soon!"

I think the weird urine smell may be from the flagyl. Not sure.

Just be sure to eat something that sticks to your ribs when you take the meds.

I know my stomach would never be able to handle that stuff.

How can you do water only but your medicine says take with food?

but if you take only with water, you are guaranteed to have more pain.

Yeah...what a mess. Liquid diet for diverticulitis but medicine says take with food.

Augmentin sent me to ER with severe stomach pains.

SOME people can't tolerate that abx.
