Looking for effectiveness for pain and also affordability.

The fibromyalgia I've had for 32 years was an undiagnosed Lyme symptom.

Be aware that it can cause drowsiness, alone.

I have taken in a sleep formula Hepapro Herb-Som

If you need it during daytime, it may be best to have a LL ND create a formula for you with this in it but also with other herbs so that you can stay awake and focused ("Ha" I think as I write this, hoping you will laugh and understand that all things are relative with us, of course. Just concerned about driving.)

I am certain there are other herbs that could balance this out for daytime use. Or see how your body does with it first for a while before driving.

ANGELICA is one herb I've seen this combined with but that is not so much for alertness as for other reasons, I think (though not sure).

Just be sure of your source, and their sources, where / how grown, tended, etc.

I looked at Amazon and don't know any of the brands they carry, although one brand has "Plum Flower" in its name. It's not clear that it's really from that brand as it appears very different from other "Plum Flower" logos and labels I've seen (and they are a good company).

If you get a powder, be sure there are not additives to make it mix better in water. It's important to be able to communicate with someone up the chain so you find out details about the quality.

http://www.hepapro.com/hepapro_product.htm

Hepapro HerbSom - HP0 23

(Listed elsewhere) HerbSom Ingredients:

Corydalis root, jujube seeds and Schisandra fruit.

Jujube is also called zizyphus. Schisandra is also spelled schizandra. Both can be searched at PubMed and at The One Earth Herbal Sourcebook ( http://oneearthherbs.squarespace.com )

-----------------------

I've not used this one and you'd want to read up on Angelica, although I have used many other Honso formulas over the years, through various naturopathic doctors. It's a good brand:

In addition to VitaCost, iHerb is a good place to look for good items at a good price. Customer reviews are also helpful. Lucky Vitamin another vendor to consider.

1st Chinese Herbs

Talk to them, though, if you order a powder to be sure what all could be in that. Some powders require some kind of "flowing agent" to avoid clumping and a fine corn powder may be used in some formulas.

Thanks Keebler for all the information and links!

I would want to use it during the daytime and the nighttime, so yes, I would need something that would not make me drowsy during the day.

I will have to sort through the info you provided and get some ideas.

Thanks again!
