Just wondering if there are folks here that have gotten off antibiotics and how did they know they were ready?

I would say I am 95% well and am thinking the remaining twitching is from yeast. Right now yeast seems to be a problem after being on abx over three years. Other symptoms of which I had many have gone.

I will be starting chinese medicine herbs through my acupuncturist this December so am thinking this will help me transition from abx.

Any thoughts on this? thanks

Haha! Thanks for the laugh you guys!

Autocorrect gets me all the time.

One time I was texting to a coworker and was talking about a hard job I had to do.

Some how it came out ha*d job I had to do.

Hahaha! Embarassing!

I stopped abx when I had to go back to work full time in May.

I was good, felt good, until last week.

Now have had an 8 day migraine.

I was on hardcore abx for a year before throwing in the towel.

Yesterday started abx up again.

So that is a great question, I honestly do not know the answer.

Hi Peony! I was on antibiotics for 4 and 1/2 years. I felt about 80 percent better when I went off antibiotics. I was really nervous about stopping but at the same time I felt ready to try it. I've been off antibiotics for 2 years and I am doing pretty good. Glad I'm off and able to live life again.

It's so worth getting off. I think it's the only way to know if you are well. And you can always start treatment again if necessary.

Good luck! I hope everything goes good for you.
