Do it, and stay on it as long as you can. Best drug for me, got my Lyme in remission. Now treating parasites.

Why not try a less caustic/drastic medication first? Is this for Lyme or for something else?

Did IV vanco for 10 days (not for Lyme) via heplock. It did not "burn" my veins. But it's tough on the veins moreso than other meds and the heplock had to be replaced more than it should've been.
Have no idea what it would be like via PICC. Blinkie did you get the IV vanco through PICC line?

Yes. No pain in the veins. Only improvements. Been off abx for Lyme for nearly 2 years thanks to vanco. Before that, I did two years of orals. Much improvement from them but Iv vanco was a wonder drug for me.
