Hi all, haven't been here in a long while. I broke my back and have been trying to get used to a level of everyday pain, doing okay. However, just recently I have had new pain, in new places. upper arms, mid back in particular. Here's my question...I have always been worried about relapse... wouldn't I be having some other symptoms besides pain? I have no other issues like I had before--the tingles, numbness, or shooting electrical stuff--but I am in big time pain and the pain mgmt. guy (new appointment today) mentioned fibromyalgia. EEK...am I relapsing? Should I call my llmd?

Hi Lymetutu! I am not taking magnesium lately. The pain doc has scheduled me for an MRI, for which I was grateful...he wasn't just shuffling me off with a fibro dx. I will start back on my magnesium. He is also doing a bone scan. I'm just in so much pain I started to wonder about relapse. But I would not say that I feel ill, just hurt. Thank you!

Beth22, it's quite normal for a major stressor and a severe back injury is a BIG time stressor to your body.
Yes, call your LLMD and see if they can also help keep the lyme bacteria count at bay. They love a weakness, an area of body that is struggling.
Fight them off with LLMD.
