Anyone had this? I thought they were unrelated side effects from two different meds, but just saw non-LLNP and she suggested they could be related as well as not side-effects :/

She mentioned the possibility of Spleen...we know that Lyme attacks the spleen [Razz]

Liver too. How are your liver enzymes? When mine were high from meds I would get those types of stools.

Do you have any discomfort in you stomach?

I'm currently only taking Florinef -- waiting to hear back from blood test results -- if all is good, I will resume the beta blocker that co-incided with the pale stools...my stools seem to be returning to normal colour since I quit taking the bb...if I resume the bb, I will check my enzymes again in ten days, just to be safe.

I'd love to have my gallbladder checked...I hate the Canadian health care system -- did I mention that lately? The NP gave me a hard time to do the blood testing -- cited that "too many tests cost the taxpayer money" -- how about the fact that I'm experiencing symptoms NOW? Cost of death I guess is cheaper than doing all the testing at once of possible causes of the pale stool.

It's so ironic that in a more "socialist" system, patients are further objectified than in a Capitalist system -- I guess it's more like communism, rather than socialism, where neighbours denounce neighbours -- our health care practitioners feel bolstered by their power to deny or permit testing.

Stomach is ongoing problem -- Lyme caused dysautonomia which causes gastric dumping syndrome. According to LL Gastro, when the autonomic dysfunction is treated, the gastric issues will resolve.

I had pale stools recently and my doctor said to take digestive enzymes. OOPS.. I had not re-ordered them!

Got back on them and all is well!

The USA is headed in your direction with the health care. Just can't wait. So much to look forward to.

Thanks, Tu!

What brand of enzymes do you use? How do you take them / what dose?
