that happened to me. No idea why, but happened for sure, just as you described. One of my docs said it might be oxidative stress.Dunno.

want to hear an even stranger aspect of this? When I am at my most sick, my eyebrows grow like crazy. I don't mean a little, and I'm not micro-analyzing everything that happens to me. But if I'm really at my worst for a few days, every day I have eyebrow hairs that are crazy long and sort of weird-twist. They're entirely different than other ones. Also, it goes away when I am not bottoming out.

Would be very happy to have hair growing again, any color would do. It is very thin and still falling out, yet hardly has grown an inch in two years.

Maybe you need some MSM or something like that? Biotin?
Michael.. I've had those weird eyebrow hairs too. Not sure any correlation to feeling well or not.
Strange, huh!?

I have no idea why your hair would be growing fast. I was going to suggest bartonella because it will give you gray hair and make your hair fall out.

Don't wish to scare you Judie, but could it possibly be morgellon fibres?
Aside from that possibility, I would have to agree with Neff about bartonella.

Wow! It looks like I'm not the only one.
Lymetoo - I'll ask my doc about biotin, that's a new one to me.
Greta- Thanks for thinking of something I'd never consider. It doesn't seem to be morgellon fibres though (no morgellon symptoms either, thank God, I hadn't read about it before and it does seem scary).
These feel like hairs, if I pull one out, it seems like any other hair at the root
Nefferdun - I've been treating for Bart. That's interesting that it could be that. It's definitely white (it seems like what happened to my mom and grandma, just at a super-accelerated rate). For them it was gradual, not this waking up the next morning with different color hair. .

My curly hair turned straight while on abx (And got thinner) it's now curlier and thicker again who knows if bit was Lyme and co or the the abx. But alas, now it is getting grayer... But I am the right age for that. Sigh... So many years wasted.

Before lyme, I had a bit of white hair. During lyme, I think I got to 50% white hair.
Lyme almost killed me. It's no wonder my hair turned white before 40! That was the smallest part of my problem.
now that lyme is long gone, I had hopes my hair would grow stronger again.
But nope, it's pretty much white still, I don't think color will come back. I'm trying the KPU and remineralization...
My mother had white hair only at the end of her 60s!!!! Today, at 75, she got as much white hair as me, I find!!!
