so i tried celexa last week and it seemed to give me panic attacks. Is this normal should i just restart it at a lower dose and wait 2 weeks for it to normalize?

I used high dose effexor for nerve pain. Apparently it helps diabetic neuralgia, so I thought I would give it a try for my nerve pain.
It didn't seem to help, so I titrated down.
At 75mg now.
When I titrated down, I didn't notice any bad side effects.
It did not help my bart related anxiety/anger BUT I do prefer it to Celexa.

It can be helpful but you do have to be careful when you stop to titer down.
My son was on it and it did help him.
With that said, you have to give it time to work unless the side effects prevent it. Different meds work for different people. Sometimes the first one doesn't work.
Good luck.
