Had dark field microscopy which revealed mycoplasm organisms as well as Bb.
Would appreciate any treatment suggestions that have helped against mycoplasm.
Thanks for any imput.

Doxy with other abx during winter, and mino with other abx during summer
rifampin plus tetracycline is also good.
If you are looking for herbal route, Buhner's coinfection book has some good suggestions in it too.

Doxycycline makes you sun sensitive, so a lot of docs substitute in minocycline in the summer.

Did you see the mycoplasm yourself? Did it look oval in shape or like a slipper with a little tiny tail like structure?
I would say Doxy, Biaxin, & flagyl or tindamax, but at the end we are all guessing really. Everyone responds differently & if there is another bug in you it can blow up without any ABX affecting it.

How can they tell by darkfield that it is mycoplasma and not a different bacteria such as bartonella? I do not think mycoplasma can be identified just by the shape of the organism.

I agree with Seibert, darkfield microscopy is not useful to make an accurate diagnose of mycoplasma. Mycoplasma is extremely small so it will only show up as a small dot under a light microscope (barely visible, if visible at all, as it lacks a cell wall). So without any distinguishing features, how do you tell it is mycoplasma?

Thanks for the summer/winter difference in abx, makes sense.
I do not know how he could tell it was mycoplasm. But he is supposed to be able to recognize Bb etc.
He pointed it out a few times (different ones). They were bright, pretty small (the RBC's were big), and moved pretty quickly. I could not tell the shape exactly but not perfectly round, but not remarkably off-shape either.
Also he showed me (much bigger, but more faint) some yeast. And a long Bb spirochete, and 2 short stick types with knobs on the ends. And a "loaded" lymphocyte, and some RBC's that were teardrop shapes due he said to incomplete digestion of proteins, and some "shadow" RBC's.

On an antibiotic review (2012) I found this today:
For erythromycin & zithromax:
Macrolides are particularly useful for their coverage of atypical bacteria, such as Mycoplasma and Chlamydia. Some spirochetes and mycobacteria are also susceptible to the macrolides.
For doxycycline and minocycline:
Tetracycline has a broad spectrum of activity, with coverage of many aerobic gram-negative bacilli, atypical bacteria (such as Chlamydia trachomatis, Chlamydia psittaci, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae), and spirochetes, such as Borrelia burgdorferi.
So both the macrolides and the tetracyclines are good for Bb and mycoplasm.
Thanks Greta for your sugg of Buhner's coinfection book for an herbal regimen for mycoplasm.

From my experience with Mycoplasma I have determined that Zithromax and even Cumanda can knock it down. It comes back later for myself.
I am so familiar with the symptoms, I can tell when it is on the increase. I now use Rife frequency treatments to keep it down. It works quite well.

What Rife machine do you use? What dose and how long Zithromax helped?

My symptoms involve Crohn's disease as mycoplasma is a big part of it.
I get dead tired. Sleep an extra hour or two a night. Inflammation of intestinal tract. Inflamed gums.
Treatment with either a Zithromax or the GB-4000 frequency machine reverses all of those symptoms. But, you cannot keep taking Zithromax forever. I took two rounds of Zithromax, I think it was for eight days each time. Something like that.

My husband and I (we don't have lyme) used some of Buhner's protocol and feel much better from a joint and lung mycoplasma infection.
We took,
Oregon Grape for berberine, rhodiola olive oil olive leaf and pomegranate juice.

I cannot say for sure that I have mycoplasma but I suspect that I do. If you have any links that show mycoplasma by dark field microscopy please post them
I have symptoms that the colloidal silver I was taking only got worse with while other symptoms decreased. I felt like my lyme was much better along with the bart.
When I started running rife frequencies for mycoplasma I got a lot better so Im suspecting the groin pain and restless leg that only increased during the other treatments was caused by mycoplasma as it is responding well to microplasma frequencies.
I found the mms was also helpful as well as topical funneling of ozone, but neither was curative, probably because I didnt do the mms long enough and the ozone didnt get to all of it.

Thanks canadianmama & Carmen for your feedback.
Canadianmama, how did you know you had mycoplasm infection?
Carmen, I have 2 pics of my darkfield blood that I can send. The ND was pointing out a number of things, but the ones he said were mycoplasm I think I got straight and know which.
I would love to see some darkfield mycoplasm pics/videos too, to be 100% sure.
