SO I am wondering as I am feeling better and better...
I do have symptoms that come and go even though they are on the down swing (YAY).
Has anyone that is "cured" here still have/had residual fleeting or somehting like that after ?
of to be TOTALLY 100% symptom free is only way telling you are totally cured?

I am wondering the same thing. I used to have 30+ symptoms now I have 5, which come and go. I still have bad headaches and fatigue, but the others come and go and are manageable. Can headaches be an after symptom?
I am having ART done this wednesday.... I'll probably told I have everything still.

I thought of this- what about arthritis? If I have joint pain should it all go away? or will I always have lingering affects?

But it is a process to detoxify and strengthen the body after the bacteria is gone, so you won't necessarily feel 100% even though the Lyme is gone. It took some time for me to feel "normal".

My understanding is that even after you are "cured", you may still have some lasting effects. This is especially true depending upon how long you were sick before getting treatment and how much damage the Lyme did to your system.
Even when I kick Lyme's butt, I've been told that I can't reverse the arthritis that developed in some of my joints (I have X-rays showing where my joints/bones have knotted up, so to speak). Hopefully, treatment will stop it from getting any worse though.
Glad to hear you are almost symptom free. It gives me hope to hear stories like these. Sending you positive vibes that you continue to improve!

Well almost all my symptoms are gone , there are 2 that remain but going away slowly .
I had probably close to 85% of symptoms listed from lyme and bartonellia
No more joint pain or arthritis , etc i feel like a normal 52 old person should feel like.
I still have insomnia and very low level ringing ears only notice if i look for it, but not loud to wake you , nor 24 hr 7 days a week. Like it used to be ,
I have been slowly coming off meds , 7 days a week now per month , but i still do use some nutramedix tinctures still,
2013 i manged to work 6 to 7 days a week 80 hrs to 110 hrs and felt great.
My LLMD said that was extreme and recommended when you can must take a break , so i did after 6 months non stop.
Everyday i had tears of joys because for once i felt normal i was able to walk talk do anything ,the world was mine.
minor flare or two but nothing major. Keep pressing on it will get better,

If there are remaining symptoms such as joint pain, then IMO you still have work to do because there is a pathogenic cause that needs treatment. I don't buy the "post lyme syndrome" nonsense. My practitioner believes that lyme can be cured just like any other bacteria and I agree.
I no longer have any lyme symptoms after treatment.

lostlyme I have tenetus 24/7 as you did. My llmd says after my treatments he will test me for heavy metals.
Did you have this test?

My son's ear md told him to take high doses of Vitamin B to reduce tinnitus. The ringing didn't disappear immediately -- maybe after a month or so -- but, once gone, the tinnitus has not returned. (DS had horrid ringing that would keep him up all night.)
If you haven't tried high doses of vitamin B, perhaps that would help?
