my 18 yo daughter just got tested- NO LYME!!! yaya
but she has other things.....
including coxsakie that dr feels never left her body after having it as a toddler.
I can't find much on line about adult coxsakie and how it affects you, but dr said it is vital she treats for it and is probably causing many of her symptoms.
anyone have info on long term coxsakie?
thanks

I had it this winter and had a hard time shaking it (viruses love the dry air of winter). It wears you down, much like lyme. Not sure about long term but wouldn't be surprised we carry this one forever, it just needs to be knocked down.

Yes, I have that, 5 or 6 strains (there are multiple ones). New ones have shown up with retesting along with the old ones still being there.
I've tried herbal, homeopathy and valtrex. It's a tough one.
Homeopathy did nothing. Reishi may have helped but hard to tell. Valtrex (valcyclovir) definitely did something, but it was too hard on me. I was allergic, my body is very reactive and I have to be careful what I take (not herx).
Some people have a big turn arounds with anti-viral meds though.
My doc also believes that once I get the bacterial load down, my body should be able to handle the viruses better.

Hmmmm.... He actually put this on the list for LAST to be treated for. He believes the bigger the organism the sooner it needs to go so smaller ones have no where to hide.
