hey there. i was taking abx for a new tick bite.
i did zithromax and minocycline.

the zithro gave me the symtpoms i already forgot for a while: blurry vision, blurry vision and more blurry vision! also some vertigo.

it gets better on: citrus pectin and other "bile binding" supps, so i say its neurotoxic **** from candida released in my gut.

i suspect this is from candida - can candida come back on just a few days of abx?! i suspect it because i also have itching/gut pain. when i stoppoed abx last november i had symptoms like these all day, all the time and they only got worse. i have no idea i slowly got over it in 6 months, now its back again.......

i seem to have terrbile yeast overgrowth in the GI. im already taking probiotics all the time and personally i think the diet isnt helping enough. even if i do it hardcore all the time i still get the symptoms.

fluconazole gave me the feeling of beeing drunk (candida dying?)

plz help

Diet and probiotics cannot kill yeast.

Once you have yeast, you have to take Diflucan to kill it. After you kill it, the diet and probiotics will keep it from regrowing, that's all.

Sounds like you were killing a lot of yeast when you took the Diflucan.

And yes, you can get candida very quickly depending on the condition of your gut, the antibiotic you took, the dosage, your diet at the time and if you were not on a high enough dose of probiotics.
