so I have a new pain. it is a piercing sharp pain on or in my pubic bone. COuple days now. it comes and goes.
I haven't found much on line, but I did find some reference that it could be Lyme related.
any body have this? it isn't pelvic pain, I get that too. this is directly on the pubic bone- I am a female.

The bacteria can go anywhere and cause us pain anywhere, would be my answer.
If it is related to pelvic pain, a chiropractor familiar with low back/pelvic issues could help.
Sometimes the use of an activator, a chiropractor tool, on the pubic bone can help, but only if it's out of place.

I had a rhythmic pain in my groin on one side on 3 or 4 occasions that my LLNP thought might have been Lyme related. It was very scary because it would be excruciating pain that would only last a few seconds and then would go away only to come back again minutes later.
Kind of like a labor contraction but a different type of pain. This would last for a good part of the day and then just gradually go away.
Is this the type of pain you have? Or is it constant?

dbpei, it is kind of like that I guess. except it is piercing. I only felt in once today. I think it might be a transient guest like so many other symptoms with all this is. ?
I do get kind of labor painy pains in my groin on the left, but that is a hernia.

It was definitely piercing pain. I would grimace while it was happening. So odd that it would just disappear after a day or so.
I would let your LLMD or your PCP know and that way, you won't worry so much. Hope it has gone away by now.

I get bilateral groin pain, but it is coming from my back. There are nerves that run from your back to your groin. The pain can also be referred from hip problems. http://orthopedics.about.com/od/hipknee/g/groinpain.htmPosts: 1748 | From United States | Registered: Dec 2011
