I took it with food but about 3 hours after taking it, I have a bad hollow, burning feeling in the middle of my stomach.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to prevent it or ease it so I can continue with it?
Thanks for any advice.

That's a symptom of over-doing it on sulfur (garlic is high in sulfur). Molybdenum helps the body process out the excess sulfur.
Taking raw garlic with some kind of fat, such as olive oil or avocado or something like that should help blunt the burning...
Can even take a small amount (e.g., 1/2-1 teaspoon) of olive or some other vegetable oil now and that may help soothe the burning.
And Slippery Elm Bark or Marshmallow Root may help too. Thayer's makes a lozenge for sore throats from slippery elm bark that is good for stuff like this...

Hmmm...thank you for your replies.
Razzle, would that be the same as someone having a reaction to sulfur based drugs?
My husband had a bad reaction to a sulfur based antibiotic and he was going to try the garlic as well, but now I'm wondering if that's a bad idea.
I'd like to continue taking it and will give your suggestions a try. Thank you for your help!
