Randi-same with me. My face and neck are "fever hot" to the touch, and the rest of my body is chilly.
I think it is local inflammation where lyme and babesia is.
My face sometimes is beet red and super hot to the touch.

I've been feeling burning hot before, but when someone else touches my skin, it feels cold. I think it might be a nerve, inflammation issue for me. Low temp too, but no thyroid problems.
I remember reading it could be the thyroid/adrenals awhile back:
Q: So this topic highly interests me, especially because I also have the sensation of feeling hot and sweaty even though my temps are super low.
A: The hot and sweaty feeling when your temp is low is due to adrenaline - it kicks in when you have low cortisol.
I'll throw out some other theories I've heard:
I heard that it could be because your body is trying to heat up to the regular temperature which can cause you to feel hot.
Another theory is your body temperature is too cold, but it's the external air around you that's giving the sensation of feeling hot because it's warmer than you.
It's also the full moon tonight. Personally, my body feels completely out of wack today. More so than usual.
