Anyone else diagnosed with this? First Q-Fever now this....Not sure I am in agreement with the results but it did say positive.
If titers do not go down will have to do IV Gentamycin for 10 days. Tularemia - really?

I am so sorry to hear you have q fever AND turlaremia! Wow!
Just wanted to know I'mm thinking of you and praying tonight for your recovery.
I've had IV Gentamycin before. It wasn't for TBD... "officially", it was for "unknown" infection causing kidney infection, IC and extremely high white count.
I Liked it, it helped me. I think I did only 10 days or 2 weeks. It was after a bunch of other IV abx that didn't work.
It has a fair bit of potential side effects and also can harm ears.

Seems a lot of people are showing up with these zoonotic diseases recently --- brucellosis, tularemia .... all of which have a history of having been used in widespread field tests (on animals).
I hope you get an answer you can trust, and treatment that works.

Thanks....I got DX with Q-Fever back in 2012. I always had the suspicion that it may have come from a bovine pericardium patch I have in my head from chiari surgery. Treated and it has been gone for a while now.
But now this? It just seems really odd....I don't know....Getting re-tested next week. I don't handle animals or livestock. There is cross over w/ Brucella but that was negative. Thanks for the feedback/thoughts. DW

Yes, another tough conversation with dh today about moving, i.e., fighting while walking dog in the rain. All three of us chronic - now come on!
Getting house in order but cannot happen fast enough.
Why bother getting better when you just get sick all over again!!!!

I just had Bicillin shots 2-3 times a week for 6-7 months, but looked up the treatment on your post here,
and it listed 2 antibx IV or IM.
Obviously there is a great deal to such a major life change, personal factors I am unaware of, but looking in from the outside here,
it does seem you are getting a message- I'm glad you have good care--

I did tularemia with ondamed for 2 sessions. Seemed to still be dormant. First did a-Tula for a few mos. feel better. God. bless.
