- Every human can be affected by candida overgrowth at anytime in life. Antibiotics can make that much more a problem, of course. That's why probiotics are so vital even before starting them, if possible.
The Genitourinary area is particularly subject to this due to the nature of dampness, etc. . . . however, it's most often a systemic issue, not just localized.
If probiotics don't keep candida infections under control, antifungal herbs or Rx may be required . . . &/or changes in habits, etc.
