I have been taking Biaxin and Malarone for three months and I stopped this regimen three months ago because of very bad heart arrhythmia. The arrhythmia, unfortunately, hasn't improved. I would like to go back on antibiotics, but I don't have the guts... I also went through a course of Zythromax and Malarone. There again - heart palpitations. Any suggestions?

Biaxin and Zithromax are both bad for the heart.

How about Ceftin, or even doxycycline?

Amoxicillin .... or Bicillin shots are other possibilities.

I took Doxycycline but it gave me splinter hemorrhage on all of my fingernails. Is Amoxicillin compatible with Malarone? Would that combo be beneficial for Babesia Dunccani? What about Minocycline for the heart? Bad also?

I too have had heart issues, especially with zith. Of course zith was the only abx that made me feel good but I can't take it.

I would hope mino would be ok as it is in the same class as doxy?

I had heart issues at 38 and was very fit.

Mepron and Zith fixed my heart problems.

I also had Babesia - which is worse for your heart than any abx.

M&Z will also kill Lyme.
