just had the worst several days. I am on coartem and malarone 5days per week to try and get rid of babs. i was on doxy on weekend only but my lyme sx were really getting bad. so we added doxy daily and tindy on weekends. this started 3 weeks ago any by middle of last week i thought i was dying. just when i started to feel like giving up today i wake up feeling better. not great, but better. I HATE THESE DISEASES.
So what's happening? herx? babs treatment not working? bart flaring?? I hate how confusing this all is. just venting. thx for humoring me.

You have every right to vent. These TBD's just keep spinning us around.
Is it possible you may have had another bug that was susceptible to doxy? Like anaplasma, erlichia, rocky mountain spotted fever etc?
Or, if you started the doxy during a regular lyme flare...maybe that could be the reason for the herx?
Way to go!
Ps. Don't forget to avoid direct sunlight while on doxy.
The chem burns left me with scars.
