I'm not sure. I do get this in the winter just because of the cold air outside combined with the dry air inside. So a lot of times it's just dry skin.
Other times it can be a yeast thing I believe...

Up.
So itchy. And my shin bones feel like tens of bumps on the skin.
Almost like hives but just on the shin bone parts of both legs.
Super obscure thing but worries me another bart flare.
Any ideas?

Bartonella causes the shins to feel "lumpy." Can also be painful.
The bumpy skin thing - amazingly, I just started having this on my ankles yesterday. Thankfully, I had some peppermint oil to put on it to stop the insane itch...

The upper part of my legs used to start itching like crazy just as I was going to sleep. I think I read that itchy legs could be a form of restless leg syndrome.
It definitely didn't seem like it was anything to do with my skin itself. Well, for the longest time i assumed it had to be dry skin or something. It legitimately itched like a skin condition.
In retrospect I realize my skin wasn't the problem. It was the itching sensation that would drive me crazy. I didn't have any bumps or anything either.
After being diagnosed with Lyme and going on Doxy it thankfully stopped. I think it was some kind of neurological symptom for me.

Doxy is amazing for all my skin stuff and muscle ache stuff.. That would make me think something other than Bart. Mycoplasma?
