In my daughter, congenital Lyme. She has always had low grade fevers on and off- never more than 99.9, skin hot, then returns to normal: whole life.
She has been back on Lyme antibiotics now for 2 months, after a very long break off treatment-
at first, I would notice this fever 1- 1 1/2 hours after dose of antibiotics and think: die off, body fighting infections.
But today, 3+ hours after dose, then a blood draw for more testing, after the blood draw: there is the fever again.
1,000 dollar question: what the heck is the fever? Just Lyme? Thanks for any input.

Not sure. I get these also in the afternoons.
My ex illiterate-lyme doc, said, "Oh, it's your metabolism".
Which is a complete pile of dog doodoo because I would be a lean 100 pounds with energy out the wazoo if this was the way it worked.
I believe this is bartonella flaring. Almost everyday around the same time, and didn't get these when I was in the tail end of bart treatment. (last time, sigh)

Thanks Greta! Could very well be Bart.
I never, ever run a fever, and the few times I have in the last 20 years, I literally thought I was dying.
My dd is oblivious she's running a fever, doesn't change mood/ energy when it happens.
I had someone tell me once: just stop taking her tem
