Everyday I wake up as soon as I wake up my thoughts are racing or I have a song stuck in my head that I repeat over and over again. It's like I can't get my mind to quiet down and relax. It doesn't cause anxiety or anything but in my head I'm literally like SHUTTT UUP I don't even like that song. I wonder if it's some type of deficiency that I have that won't allow my mind to quiet down. Even if I wake up in the middle of the night it immediately starts until I fall asleep again.

Lyme is known to cause Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and also ADHD.
So choose something more pleasant to dwell on and force yourself to think about that instead of the song or whatever else...
I find also that reading an entertaining novel or watching a movie can help when my brain does this type of thing...

Lyme messes with our brains. I too have intrusive thoughts, repetitive thoughts, bad dreams, etc.

Razzle when I'm distracted at work or doing other things then it's fine but it's just when I wake up in the morning that happens and has happened most recently in the past month. Maybe I'm a crazy person now lol
