lets just say i am really afraid of my struggles with Lyme.
i am 22 years old with no medical history. Yet i have severe neurocognitive symptoms. They are progressing slowly.
i have no emotion which is scary. I hardly realize the things i am doing until someone yells at me.
i am doing things and acting bizarre and unaware i am doing it.
i am a emergency medical tech before this and i i can hardly come up with words and thoughts.
i am afraid i have DEMENTIA or something. i am on cholastyramine biaxin, plaquanil, doxy
could it be heavy metals. IM to the point i think i am going to end up in assisted living because i cant take care of myself
any advice. Comments are great.

Treatment takes time. Follow your doc's advice. He or she will know when it's the right time to treat heavy metals.

Doctors are not testing for B12 deficiency like they used to. It can be very serious.

Sorry you have to be here, Em. Just be sure you are taking the cholestyramine AWAY from all of your antibiotics and supplements. You should try to have them at least an hour before or 3 hours after you take the cholestyramine - or they may not take effect.

Hi Emtlyme...
Please talk to your doctor about the Cholestyramine. It is a drug that was/is originally used for reducing cholesterol, and works by absorbing fats. It is used "off label" by practitioners for toxin removal.
Among other effects, this can cause a reduction and/or imbalance of good fats, vitamin and mineral stores in your body (particularly vitamins A, D, and K) as it is not selective about what it absorbs.
Good fats are crucial for brain health, as the brain is made up mostly of fat. Deficiencies can result in an increase of the symptoms you're describing...
