'Under Our Skin part 2: Emergence' is now available on DVD. 60 minutes.
I just viewed it in my home with my husband. Very choked up. In fact it's difficult to convey my feelings, but it is, of course, a must see. I hope all of you can view it soon.
I keep hearing the line, in reference to the CDC: 'The Lie is too Big to Confess'.
There were many countries speaking of their own Lyme epidemic growing. There were updates from the people in the first movie 'Under Our Skin'. We heard from our hero/ warrior Dr.s and researchers.
There was science, reality, and facts.

Too big? This doesn't at all surprise me.
Well, it should be investigated, and the offenders should be prosecuted.

Droid,
What about it is too much for you to handle? I would have expected the sequel to be less intense.

I agree with droid and surprise.
I generally am unable to watch any lyme documentaries or interviews with lyme sufferers as I get too emotional and go to a very dark place for days. Almost suicidal.
Not good.

Greta,
That is why I am asking... I'm debating whether I should get it for fear I may not be able to handle it, too.

Did they do updates for all the people who were in the original? Are they all better?

Yes, there are updates from the folks in the original, and they ARE better!
The viewing experience won't be the same for everybody. It can be extremely validating. And to see the Dr.s who work against the odds to do the right thing, that level of morals and righteousness is beautiful.
I am particularly sensitive to all the children affected with Lyme disease, and the movie opened with a healthy treated child who had been born w/ congenital lyme infections, which started my tears. But so important to see this, IMO.
