Forgive me if I have asked a similar question. I am trying to work on bart again and abx are not on the menu this time.

What herbals /supps are effective for bart?

I thought Zhang's HH2 capsules 'tamped down' Bart pretty darn good while on combo antibx for Lyme.

I did not get the same conclusion from other forms of Houttanyia, specifically tincture form.

But, that is just me and my experience, and unfortunately, HH2 capsules are expensive.

Azith is the only med i took for bart. While on it i felt more energy and happy, almost unreasonably happy, but it felt good. had racing thoughts but not in a completely bad way. Kinda felt like I was waking up out of a fog. It is such a shame the zith caused very scary chest pain.

Do you think what i described sounds like bart?

gigimac,

Good question. I went to pick up my 3rd month of Azith and my insurance says only 60 tabs every 113 days. That would mean I have to wait 2 months to refill. It seems to help with Bart and CPN. When I take it daily my CPN cough goes away.

So I may be back on the herbs. I like HH2 I have to take at least 3 a day so it gets expensive.

I have Hout. powder from 1st Chinese that I will ramp up. 30 day supply is about 450 in US and about 220 in Can.

I am just beginning to use a rife machine so I will go after CPN, Bart and parasites first. I still have the abx covered for Lyme, at least for now.

All the Best, MattH

Have you tried CSA from Woodland Essence?

The first time I used it for bart it helped.

Even cryptolepsis by itself can be helpful.

For the members that had such good results with Azithromycin, have you ever tried Biaxin/clarithromycin?

Same class as Azithromycin (macrolide). Biaxin has been excellent for my daughter this year- I was so surprised at her turn around with it, I went and had her tested for Myco P,

since it's often used for that with PANDAS/ PANS kids.
Nope, no Myco, never had it.

Several years ago Azith. was her 1st antibx. (solo), same miraculous turn around, although didn't hold after 6 weeks.
We didn't know about Lyme/ Bart then.

Just added rifampin to her protocol, hoping and praying to get rid of this Bart for good.

CPN is chlamydia pneumonia, respiratory infection. It along with Bart makes it harder to get to treating the Lyme.

I will ask my LLMD about Biaxin/clarithromycin. I have not tried CSA.

Thanks for the info. Let see what he says, maybe I can rotate till I can hit it with Azith again,

Thanks, MattH

Thanks for the input guys.

I wish I could continue the zith but right now the zith and biaxin are off limits. they both seem to trigger some scary heart stuff .I wish there were an herbal equivalent to azith..

I'm trying to decide which herbal would be best. Sida acuta, knotweed, csa or A-bart. I have heard some scary herxing stories about A-bart. I am not sure if that is where i should start.

I plan on getting a rife machine sometime in the future when I have the money. I have wanted one for a long time now.

First try a small 1 or 2 oz. bottle of CSA from woodland essence. Its a blend of cryptolepsis, sida acuta, and alchornia.

I believe that Knotweed is more anti-inflammatory than either anti-microbial or anti-bacterial, and Buhner includes it in all of his core protocols.
