Anyone know how safe collidal silver is? Some claim it is pretty safe and some people say it can be stored in the body and even cause lung and neurological issues if it travels around? Any ideas?

Thanks

I have been looking into this too. I found a formula you can use. from
http://www.silversafety.org/

"The Silver Safety Calculation is simple enough: "12 times pounds divided by ppm equals drops per day." According to this I can safely take 180 drops of my current silver and still be safe, I wouldn't need that much anyway.

more info. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/02/07/new-guidelines-released-for-safe-usage-of-colloidal-silver-supplements.aspx

http://www.silver-colloids.com/Reports/reports.html

I haven't done as much research as i would like but perhaps you will find these sites helpful. I did.

I think i prefer the newer silver that is a lower ppm but the particles in the solution is smaller so it is supposed to be more effective and safer.

I use argentyn23. I started out with 1/2 tsp and I definitely herxed. Dont know if it was hitting lyme or bart or what but atleast it was something. I called the # on the back of the bottle and they had a naturalist call me back.

He said it will kill everything...still waiting for that to happen.

jlcd1 How long have you been on it? Has it helped at all?

I have the brands "One silver solution" and "Sovereign Silver." I believe Sovereign silver is made by the same company as Argentyn 23 but it is not as strong and does not have to be ordered by a dr.

For a few days in a row I had a bit more mental clearness and felt more upbeat but it is too early to tell if it was the silver.

yes sovereign and argentyn23 is made by the same company and the argentyn23 is stronger and i think that's why it's only sold by a practitioner's. or I'll pm you where i get it. It's def kept me stable for the 8 month break off abx that i took.

But i think it works better combined with abx, just my opinion though.

I hope the mental clearness stays for you. I'm giving the argentyn23 to both my kids also.

Argentyn23 is what my lyme doctor gave me too. Thanks for info - gigimac. One thing I heard is someone say silver stores in your body but I've heard that can be true about antibiotics too so maybe with moderate use it doesn't matter so much.

I didn't want to take any kind of silver for the longest time. My very expensive LLMD suggested it to me. He recommends argentyn 23. I do herx on it.

It has helped noticeably for dental issues, including what feels at times like infection.

Sometimes we have so many symptoms that we don't realize that something we are taking Is actually helping with things.

Just passing on what was recommended.
