I have a doc who says he has had success with IV silver and IV ozone, just wondering if anyone out there has tried this.

I forgot to ask this question specifically when I met with my doc and it came up, and it is an important one in my mind. I have many signs of very poor circulation and I am not going to put much faith in any treatment plan going forward that doesn't address that.

But, doing a little searching on the web on silver and biofilm, does give good reason to believe silver is excellent at busting biofilm. It is being written and evidently it has been studied.

My concern is of any problems it may cause to have significant amounts of silver hanging out indefinitely, or, ease of removing it later.

Part of me thinks, well, if it builds up in the tissues, that could be what might make it effective long-term, as a preventative after a cure.

And then, other times, I am just more concerned about the approach, and remember the theories of many that excess metals causes EMF sensitivity (is it just wireless or all of them?), and that is a real concern for me as that may be my worst problem.

Breaking up a paragraph for easier reading for many here -

I mentioned in the Ebola thread that Dr Rima is reporting that nano silver 10ppm is effective and does not stay in the body. Watch the 9-minute video at www.DrRimaTruthReports.com and see what you think -

That was a nice link. Now I can ask my doc what kind of silver he uses.

Hubby did both.

He did a total of 12 IV ozone treatments if I remember correctly. Felt they were of no benefit at all. This was prior to any antibiotics though so who knows.

If I remember correctly the IV ozone treatments were immediately followed by IV vitamin c treatments also (either 25,000 or 50,000).

The IV colloidal silver (argentyn 23) was something I was trained to do. Hubby started with oral colloidal silver and then switched to IV. If I remember correctly the maximum dose he did was 2 ounces - I think we did that 2 times per day for a month or so. In his opinion it just stirred things up and had no real benefit.

This was a couple years after his first 2 months of IV rocephin and after trying low dose quinine and clindamycin and 3 months of levaquin (the old standard treatment for bart).

I talked to one doc at the LDA conference back in 2013 who claimed they had had success with IV colloidal silver. But I think they were using a higher dose than hubby did.

I think it might be a little helpful, but not at all sure it can really get rid of any of the infections.

I think the dose of IV silver would be very very much a factor.

I think both treatments and also IV vitamin C are much more effective on viruses than on bacteria and tickborne pathogens.

I know a couple people who say they got better with colloidal silver. Again, buyer beware and do your research...

Sounds promising but everyone is different. My plan is to do the ozone treatments while on heavy duty abx and maybe iv silver. I guess I haven't made up my mind about the IV silver yet. Im still using oral argentyn23 for the moment.

I have used ozone and vitamin c while off antibiotics on an as needed basis, while living overseas. I definitely felt that my immune system was strengthened. Anytime I felt a flu like feeling coming on I would get a treatment and recover quickly. I stopped getting Lyme fevers. However, this was not curative. Here in the US I did an intensive protocol with high dose vitamin C and ozone. This was harder on me-caused herxheimers, and was not curative-felt worse...I would do these treatments (without stressing the body) in combination with antibiotics. It's hard to find places that will do this however. The clinics all seem to want you to undertake their "protocol" when, at this point, I do not feel that there is evidence that any given protocol is curative. There is still so much to learn. I think cautiously trying therapies that might help the immune system is a good idea, if you can find a cooperative place. Good luck. I am now back on antibiotics..
