So after a year of trial and error antibiotics I'm going to take a shot in the dark and go in a different direction. I just started dr j's full lyme protocol which consist of lymeogen, borrelogen, microbojen, neuro antitox II, yeast ease plus, pomifitrin, and molybdenum. All of this cost about $260 for a months supply which I was spending on suppliments anyways. I downloaded the ebook by dr Sarah which is free and it gives multiple protocols that might fit ones lifestyle.
Il track my progress using this thread and anyone else who is doing any of the products feel free to comment on here about your progress as well.
I know I'm taking a big risk here since i have made progress with mepron Biaxin and tindamax but I feel like the abx are slowly destroying me but if need be il go back to them. Going to give this a shot for a few months and see what happens.

I've taken those products and done very well on them. The key for me was high dosages, but everyone is different.
Please keep us posted.
If your progress plateaus, consider adding a Babesia-specific herb or formula. That's the one infection I could not get under control with these products.

Lymedin would love to try that. I beleive it works since I didn't start getting symptoms until after I graduated and stopped smoking. However Im in the police academy and wouldn't be able to do that until some laws are changed

Well that would put a stop to that trial, sorry to year you can't experiment with oil right away.
Funny you should mention that, since I have an individual who also smoked & was bitten by 2 ticks that they know of. They "had" Lyme years back & when they stopped smoking they started to develop symptoms that sent them back to the doctors.
From other anecdotal evidence around, I started to ask a few people I had even asked Tom Grier. he speaks to hundreds of people who run to him for help & I was shocked when he said..."I am hearing the same thing." From people who have family members who were also bit, but yet they don't develop full Lyme when they smoked.
Smokers and drinker combos were even less likely. No go figure. Even in my family, my father got bit once, but he is a smoker & drinker. My mother got bit 2-3 times & she is a smoker, drinker, & espresso daily drinker.
Yet, I never smoke and rarely drank & I am the sickest. Another family member who also does not smoke or drink has more than a dozen Lyme symptoms & was just diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Now before Keebler goes awol on me I am not saying everyone go & do this and if your are heavily chronically sick already it can lead to further damage.
It really makes us wonder & we should not shun this out and need to consider it.

Good you made the decision. No one, I believe, can live on abx forever, and keep healthy.
We are constantly bitten by ticks, this year at least 6 times for me. My daughter about 4 or 5. Had we had to live on abx, our lives would be a wreck.
I hope the alternative treatment works! Wishing you good luck!!

Thank you for the positive feedback. Time will tell I suppose. Wish I had someone else to do this with/already did this to compare and contrast experiences

I'm not familiar with this protocol.
In a nutshell, can you summarize the premise of it?
Is it all herbs? Are they similar to Buhners?
Homeopathy, or other similar treatments.

I beleive its a herbal/homeopathic protocol. It's designed to get your body to naturally fight lyme and co as well as yeast and detox. It's more of a immune suppliment rather than an antibiotic.
I wish someone who knows more would chime in for you. You can check out the website it explains everything and how it works in great detail

T Brown, I don't know how you react to mixed substances, but my daughter and I usually crashed with most mixtures/ combinations. I mean, we lost lots of money with combined products, tinctures, capsules because I had to throw them away.
Then I made a decision: never anymore buy mixed herbs, but try them separately. I believe, that each person is different and react differently, and that if I need a lot of cats claw, my daughter could need just very little, or maybe nothing. So the only way for us was to buy stuff separately, try slowly one by one.
I read the formulas from Borrelogen and Lymogen. They wouldn't fit us, just because of that. I would just try my own combinations, but that takes time. If you are not that sensitive like us, these formulas may work?
The only thing that works in formulas for us are HOMEOPATHIC mixtures. I love these, usually, as they are practical, inexpensive, usually, and effective. But herbals, supplements, whatever, I usually react badly.
Example: I'm trying to take zinc supplements, like the Core, Depyrrol, now we're on B-Life Protect.
It took us more than a year to get used to taking zinc! We're still not done (only 2-3 times a week, we can take this).
I am not sure if this is because of zinc or the bad combinations. Depyrrol was awful, Core even worse, now B-Life Protect has less substances inside, and we react better, but we still can crash.
If I were you, I would take any new herbal protocol very slow and check for yourself.
I'm pretty convinced that herbs in combination work better than abx, just because they help building, cleaning and balancing, not only killing. The problem is to find your combination, and your dosage, and still, how to keep changing until you heal for good.

I am not familiar with this protocol, either. TBrown, could you provide the website for those of us who don't know anything about this?
I think it is great that you are trying this and listening to your intuition.

This is the website. It has all the information on every product. If u want the at home protocols then download the ebook it's free.
Just a fair warning they are very religious so if you are not then just ignore the quotes and versus but if you are then embrace them.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone

I'm not educated in homeopathic remedies sorry so maybe they are just herbal blends sorry for the confusion.
Don't get confused between the home tinctures and what they do at the Hansa center. Download the ebook or read about each tincture in the lyme protoco to see which ones do what. I can also give you the email Adderess of a few people on my other lyme forum who have gotten well in months using just 2 of these remedies not all 6 and have never used them again. They are always happy to help
