Currently I have a Doug coil that I payed 1500 for. It didn't really do much for me and I used it for about a year. Never tried it for mycoplasma or the fry bug though.
Now the latest craze is anew machine called the biocharger amongst people I know with Lyme.
If one rife machine didn't work for me is it likely that another one could work differently and could help? What do you think?

- I would not do anything that is "the latest craze"
It's confusing that this "biocharger" - you call it "another kind of rife"?
It is either a rife or not.
While some types of rife machines can be more convenient than others, they operate on the same basis - radio frequency.
No, if one kind of rife machine did not help you, another kind will not help you, either. All true rife frequencies are exactly the same. The art comes in with HOW you use it, the full plan of action other than the rife, too.
It may not be that your current rife machine did not work for you so much as how it was employed and the support protocol around it. The methods used may be what have not worked. Or it's not yet enough time.
There are so many frequencies to consider and, really, one year treatment with any method is just not enough for lyme. It can take several years.
That you say you have not tried it for mycoplasma, though, and assuming you have been assessed to have that, it would make sense then that you may not have yet seen the kind of results you had hoped for.
Please keep your rife. You have a very good one and, IMO, it is probably THE most important tool that anyone can have.
I would reassess the frequencies to use, the frequency at which to use them, support supplements, diet, other Rx that may be getting in the way - or may be needed (i.e. thyroid, etc?)
use rife for mycoplasma, too. Only then will you know.
The "latest craze" concerns me. Rife has been around for a very long time and it has helped many with tick borne disease get better. But, it would be very rare, indeed, for it to happen in one year's time. -

- Looking around their website a bit, I see that biocharger is not a rife machine. Rife is all about RF (radio frequency).
Biocharger operates differently. At their site, they state it uses "electromagnetic and photonic energy" - that's EMF and light, not radio frequency.
First, though, I wonder if you realize that A Biocharger NG (current model) price starts at $10,800.00 - if you have ten grand, you might investigate further but I have to stop here.
The BioCharger NG is a software based and digitally controlled high voltage multi-frequency, resonant transformer (modified Tesla Coil) that wirelessly transmits pulsed waves of electromagnetic and photonic energy.
The science of photonics includes the generation, emission, transmission, modulation, signal processing, switching, amplification, and detection/sensing of light. . . . [Cont'd at link.]
is a prefix used to specialise many technical terms that involve electromagnetism. . . . [Cont'd at link.] -

- There has only been one other thread with "biocharger" in the subject line. I did not search within text of posts but you can.
Hi -- I'm currently trying 2x/week sessions of very short exposure to the biocharger machine. It uses a Tesla coil and puts photons through us. First 2 sessions were a bit overwhelming for me.
This past one wasn't, meaning I was able to handle its energy better, and will do the next one at slightly greater intensity.
Curious as to whether anyone has any experience trying it.
(end Robin's 2007 post - there was one reply at link above but no detail within that.)

- Robin's mention of photons has me wondering if it is somehow similar to BioPhoton treatment. That has been very helpful for some, especially those who have been to Germany.
But not all light is the same. And with BioPhoton, NODODES must also be used.
Not sure if the biocharger is at all the same thing, similar in some way or not at all to the at BioPhoton treatment.
You might contact Robin and ask her thoughts on biocharger now that 7 years has passed. She is a moderator & frequent / current poster here so it should be relatively easy to send a PM. -

there are many threads here at LymeNet over the years about this. Some may be under the subject of Bionic 880, or terms from above. -

- Relating to the electromagnetic issues above and questions I would have about the kinds of EMF with the biocharger:

Not sure of what kind of Doug Coil you have but the one I am using works pretty well (cost about 1800). It was about 7 months before I started to see benefits. I still use both wire coils each night for about 20 minutes. So 40 minutes, it is really helping for one of my coinfections that came back after is would stop with ABX.
My sons are on ABX and use the Lyme frequencies. They still get a good herx the next morning, and their symptoms are slowly abating.
All the Best, MattH
