Currently I am working with a very lyme literate M.D. and a neuromuscular neurologists and a clinical nutritionist was just put on board by my the lmd. He does the genetic testing and hormone test etc. The doctor writes the scripts and he will be recommending supplementation and looking for mutations. I am on doxy iv, biaxin, rifampin, tindamax, plaquenil and IVIG. DX so far is Lyme, bart, autoimmune, CIDP and pretty sure we will be adding adrenal fatigue (ACTH is high) Liver and kidney enzymes are getting higher. I have been staying away from my alternative that I have gone to for years because she doesn't always agree with everything. I do trust her and she helped me for years but I have gotten worse the last few years and went back to LMD. Well I called her today about ordering a biomat and going over some things with her and now I am unsure about everything. She worries about the accuracy of the genetic testing. The nutritionist wants to make IV supplements from my test results. My alternative does not like that at all. She says vitamins, minerals need to go through the gut. If they go through the blood stream they will feed the parasites. She also worried they are mixed with synthetics. She says she has treated 2 people that did this and got cancer. She said I need to thoughly cleanse my liver. I can't explain it all but she said I need to stimulate my gall bladder. The bile traps the parasites and they keep circulating. If I don't start with a liver cleanse, which includes the Paleo diet...no grains at all, I will get nowhere and I need to be very careful about IV Supplemenation. It is so discouraging and scary when you can't get two people to agree. Just need to get this out .... I have so many appointments coming up and tests coming in and have all these decisions to make. Thanks for listening. God Bless Theresa
